 Can I copy shape properties from one shape to another?
Solution To copy fill, line and font properties (such as fill color and line width) from one shape to another:

1. Select the shape you want to copy the properties from.

2. Click the Format Painter button:



3. Click the shape you want to copy the properties to.

To copy the properties to multiple shapes, double-click the Format Painter button. This will enter a mode where you can keep clicking on shapes to apply the formatting to them. Press Escape to return to normal editing mode.


From version 4.1 upward there is also another way to copy shape properties:

1. Select the shape you want to copy the properties from.

2. Press Ctrl + Shift + C to copy the properties to a “format clipboard”.

3. Select any shapes you want to copy the properties to, and press Ctrl + Shift + V to paste from the “format clipboard”.

You can repeat step 3 to copy the properties to more shapes.
